God, it beggars belief, but here we are. Dumbasses gotta dumbass.
Look at the answers to this question. I mean, look at them. The entitled wankers saying “Why should my tax money pay for entitled little deadbeats,” every single one of these fuckers never says a peep about the government bailing out bankers or forgiving PPP loans.
Which is actually fine, except…
These degenerate freeloaders took $129.000,000,000,000 from millennials and have the sheer unmitigated gall to whine about student loans.
Student loans were cheap. And many people didn’t need college; you could get a job straight out of high school that paid a decent wage, and offered entry into a trade that didn’t require college.
And boomers, who sob and weep and wail like babies without a lollipop over “government income redistribution,” are beneficiaries of the greatest wealth transfer in American history.
Jealous Dog Syndrome
Basically, if you take a dog, and you teach it to perform tricks in exchange for a treat, and then you bring in a second dog and give the second dog the same treats without making it do tricks, the first dog will get pissed. It may even refuse to do the tricks any more.
Funny how the same boomers who made the equivalent of $12.50/hour at minimum wage jobs now scream and shake their canes at the sky over the prospect of making it $7.75 today.

Boomers lived, in a literal sense, in a different world. You could buy a house on minimum wage. A family of four could easily support itself on the salary of a single skilled or semi-skilled tradesman. There’s a formal name for this, but I forget what it is because in my cognitive science class in university we always just called it “jealous dog syndrome.” So, so, so very much of human behavior is driven by jealous dog syndrome.
